Our Crowdfunding Groups
BurkTech Players are an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of its students and audience by increasing their awareness of Autism and Theatre.
We first started five years ago as a shared passion of founders Clay Martin and Sam Shreffler, we have been growing ever since. Our current season includes our second ever multi-act play, first to be fully costumed, as well as two original plays that were writen by Burkhart students and will be receiving their world premiere through us. We continue to give workshops to our students and community that mold better actors and more confident people. We are also expanding our reach into the community with our collaborations with All Saints Episcopal School, Lubbock Community Theatre, and Will of the Wind Productions.
We are raising funds for the '19-'20 season. A season that we hope will be even larger than this one. We want to offer our students the best experiences possible by giving them as many opportunities as we can. This means not only working with our community partners for a more integrated season but also collaborating with more Texas Tech organizations to better reach our student body. We have plans for developing new works of Theatre, Dance, Art, Animation, and so much more. This can all be possible with your generous support.
