We need your help to reach our goals: to learn dance, to compete in competitions, and to foster a community of dancers at Texas Tech University! *Feel free to make a donation of any size, the levels are simply suggestions.*
The Tech Ballroom Dance Team is a student lead organization dedicated to dance, community, and service. We welcome Tech students of all dancing levels to join our team and become a part of a loving community of dancers striving for excellence. We have student lead lessons and professional lessons every week, and every semester we attend competitions against the other collegiate ballroom teams in Texas. Also, we throw dance socials free for all Tech students and the Lubbock community! (Join our Facebook and Instagram pages below to stay up to date on these fun filled and free community events). Additionally, our club regularly volunteers at the Carillon Senior LifeCare Community. We play board games with the residents and perform a showcase of our dances for the residents each year.
By donating to our club, you will help equip every member of our team to succeed in our upcoming competitions with: professional lessons, travel expenses, dance shoes, and costumes. Additionally, you will be contributing to our social funds to make our community dance socials bigger and better than ever!
So far we've traveled to competitions at University of Texas for the Austin Open, University of Houston for the Cougar Classic, and Southern Methodist University for the SMU Ballroom Blitz. Many of our members have won awards at every competition. This coming spring semester, we are planning on attending the Cougar Classic, Austin Open, and for the first time ever (with your help) a national competition!

This donation covers general expenses for the team (e.g. a meal for a team member while at competition or a hair accessory for a member to look her best)
This contribution will buy a professional dance lesson for the whole team!
